Very Unique Three Piece Band
Los
High Tops is a unique act, perfect for your next
event. We evoke the mood of the 50's and 60's with
a unique Santa Cruz feel. It's our own unique musical
style that we are passionate about.
Surfabilly
combines early Rockabilly, with Surf music and Jump
Blues. The sound evokes the early sound of Rock
and Roll - when Country first mixed with Blues,
R&B, Hillbilly,and other uniquely American music
styles. Many of the songs in Los High Tops repertoire
are original - but they all have a comfortable familiarity
- very much like the sounds of the 50's and 60's.
Where
Los High Tops is Appropriate
If
you are interested in the unique retro-sound of
Surfabilly - hire Los High Tops. We are not a "cover
band" in the classic rock sense.
If
you need a more traditional band that covers the
entire gamut of classic Rock and Roll, Motown and
Disco, we recommend The Garage Band or The
Joe Sharino Band, two of the most professional
entertainment bands in the nation. I've hired 'em
myself for corporate gigs. The
Usual Suspects is an additional, very good source
for classic set lists, and they are a very tight,
energetic band to boot!
Sound
Equipment
Los
High Tops can furnish one of it's own high-end sound
systems and engineer. We're always complimented
on our appropriate volume levels, and professional
mix quality. We carry only the best gear, appropriate
for the venues we play in. We play loud at Rock
Clubs, County Fairs and Music Festivals and we also
play "unplugged" shows where quiet conversations
can be carried out just a few feet from the band.
We have several systems - each appropriate for different
sized venues.
Our
Philosophy
We
believe strongly in delivering the experience desired
by the folks who hire us. If a fun "Surfabilly"
band (Rockabilly, Jump Blues and Surf) is what you
need for your event, we'll make sure to deliver
exactly what you contract for. We are clean and
professional - families and charitable organizations
love us.

Surfabilly

The wide variety of styles is great for all types
of social events such as birthdays, anniversaries,
night clubs, corporate functions, festivals, and
even the occasional "retro" wedding.
More
than just great music, we will get you out on the
dance floor and keep everyone dancing and having
fun. We have 2 professional sound systems. One for
indoor events as well as a High Quality Concert
Sound System for outdoor venues.
The
music and presentation will keep you and your guests
entertained throughout the event.
We
